Trip Highlights

Germany
We will begin our pilgrimage in Munich before continuing to Altotting, where we will pray at the miraculous statue of Our Lady of Altotting. We will then conclude our time in Germany with a visit to Marktl Am Inn, the birthpalce of Pope Benedict XVI.

Austria
We’ll continue our pilgrimage in journeying to Salzburg. Here we’ll take in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for being the birthplace of Mozart and setting for The Sound of Music. We’ll enjoy the Mirabell Gardens and have the option to visit the alpine city of Zell Am See.

Padua & Venice
Departing Austria we travel to Italy, commencing in Padua where we’ll pray at the tomb of St. Anthony of Padua and visit the Scrovegni Chapel, home to some of Giotto’s most beautiful frescoes. We will then enjoy a day trip to the beautiful City of Canals, Venice!

Loreto & Rome
We’ll conclude with an overnight in Loreto followed by three nights in the Eternal City. We’ll explore Rome’s greatest sites, from the tunnels of crypts and catacombs to the many ancient amphitheaters and early Christian churches, and finally the tombs of many saints.

Trip Patron
St. Joseph – the foster father of Jesus Christ – is the greatest of saints. As our trip patron, we will pray to St. Joseph before and during the trip, asking this incredible man, the protector of the child Jesus, to protect us on our pilgrimage!

“The Church is like a great ship being pounded by the waves of life’s different stresses. Our duty is not to abandon ship, but to keep her on her course.“
