This trip has been specially organized for young and old alike and therefore includes a daily program with a variety of options, such as daily Mass, hiking in the Alps, an opera, exploring castles and medieval city centers, and of course, fine dinners and wine tasting.

The Passion Play & Central The Catholic Wonders of Europe

August 3 – 12, $4050.00 per person

Our journey begins in Prague where we will spend two days touring the most beautiful churches, squares and castles of this incredible city, the “city of a hundred spires.” Prague truly dazzles at night and so we’ve arranged a dinner cruise aboard a river vessel, which is always a favorite!

Following two wonderful days in Prague we will bid adieu to the Czech Republic and head south into Germany. Our first destination is Altotting, the most important Marian shrine in Germany and a picturesque example of old Germany. Our journey then continues southwards into the Alps, where we will spend the next three days exploring western Austria and upper Bavaria. Our visits here include Salzburg and Innsbruck, Austria, and Fussen and Schloss Neuschwanstein, Germany.

Our pilgrimage concludes in Munich, Germany, where we will spend two days touring the many beautiful sites of this wonderful Bavarian capital.

The Holy Land

On this trip we will visit the many incredible sites throughout the Holy Land. The itinerary features five nights in Jerusalem, three nights in Tiberias and one night in Tel Aviv, with multiple excursions to many different sites along the way.  From Bethlehem to Bethany, Nazareth to Jerusalem, our Faith will come to life as we walk in Christ’s very footsteps. This trip has been designed to be as comfortable as possible.

We’ve arranged round-trip direct airfare from New York, beautiful four and five star hotels, and private transportation and tour services. We’ve also taken care of all of the little details, such as tours, tickets, gratuities and any extras so that you can enjoy your pilgrimage.

What is a Pilgrimage & Why ProRome?

What is a Pilgrimage?

Whereas a tourist may go to Rome to say they were in the St. Peter’s Basilica, the pilgrim goes to Rome to pray in St. Peter’s Basilica. The difference is one of purpose. The pilgrim is essentially a time-traveler, looking to reclaim their Christian heritage and reinforce and reignite their faith in God.

What Makes ProRome Unique?

We are both an outbound and an inbound tour operator. This means that we promote tours here in the USA that will go abroad (outbound), and that we operate every aspect of the tour itself (inbound). We hand-select the flights, the buses, the hotels, the restaurants, the tour guides, the tour itineraries – everything is designed just for your group. We truly are custom tour builders.

What Our Pilgrims Have to Say

ProRome led us on a pilgrimage of Rome, Assisi, Florence, Siena, and Orvieto in October 2019!  It was the most delightful and perfect adventure for our group of friends (25-30 people). What made this tour unique and truly one of a kind is that our guide Joe has an tremendous command of history, art, architecture, and faith. He was able to weave his knowledge into a story… the story of Italy. Our pilgrimage left us with memories to last a lifetime. Delicious food, gorgeous scenery, beautiful hotels in very central locations, amazing breakfasts, and a true in-depth, customized pilgrimage to significant holy and religious sites. Thank you ProRome! We can’t wait for our next adventure with you!

Highly, Highly recommend! This was anniversary trip – I didn’t want to do a tour group thing, but husband did. So glad we went this route – this is not your parent’s “tour group” gig! Joe has an impressive knowledge of secular & church history, but he was always still reading a book so he could give us more. No question went unanswered. His knowledge of back ways, front ways & side ways made walking around continually interesting. The stops for cappuccino & gelato greatly appreciated! Additionally, he took an interest in everyone individually which enhanced the trip that much more. It was the anniversary trip of a lifetime anyway, but led by him became more than we ever hoped for.

We have been to Europe nine times and this was by far the best trip we have taken. The trip had an excellent agenda and every place we stopped was exciting. The guides were full of knowledge and spoke excellent English. After 10 days we were not ready to come back home. We would love to tour with ProRome again.

Brenda & Richard Thomas

My daughter and I just came back from a pilgrimage to Italy with ProRome and we were blown away! The accommodations were phenomenal, the tours were exceptional, and almost every need was anticipated. ProRome was also able to provide and maintain the spirit of the pilgrimage. Mass, prayer time, reflection and contemplation were incorporated into the itinerary. I highly recommend ProRome for Catholic pilgrimages.
