Q. Has ProRome cancelled their spring and summer trips?
A. Unfortunately we have been forced to cancel all of our trips through June.
Q. Are your clients entitled to a refund?
A. To date, we’ve been able to secure full refunds for every client.
Q. Your cancellation terms state that “After 79 days prior to departure the Tour is 100% non-refundable.” How are you still giving refunds?
A. The cornerstone of our business is trust. We will always do everything that is humanely possible in a disaster situation to secure fulls refunds for our clients. That is exactly what we have been able to do for our clients who experienced trip cancellation due to COVID-19.
Q. Are you still planning trips for this year?
A. Yes, we plan on operating trips that take place from July. We are not requiring payments from our clients, however, until the COVID-19 situation is under control.
Q. If your late-summer and autumn trips are cancelled, will your clients get a refund?
A. Yes. We will refund 100% of the trip cost LESS a $100.00 non-refundable deposit, which is considered an admin/booking fee and is always non-refundable.
Q. How is ProRome still operating?
A. We are making the sacrifices necessary to keep our doors open. We’re currently planning and proposing trips for 2021 and 2022, completely deposit free. In this way we hope to bolster our clients’ confidence and assure them that in the event of disaster, they won’t lose a penny.
Q. What if the virus returns even stronger in the fall?
A. We’ve renegotiated our contracts so that (in this scenario) we will be able to secure full refunds for those clients on our autumn and winter trips.
Q. I have a number of other concerns about planning for 2021. Can we talk?
